1. Grab doesn't cause SB.

VI. Group

He teams up with Tsunade and Orochimaru. Also with Sage Naruto. I think he also teams up with Pain and Konan?

As a supporter...he is not very good, he has thee worst rasengan. But if you really want to use him, not as balanced.
As main character, he is cool. Try Tsunade(atk) with SM(bal) She sets you up for a U2 and SM causes SB!
Against Puppets use Tsunade(atk) and Pain as balanced. To knock them off.
Shika(bal) is always good with a good projectile like Itachi or Kakuzu. SB! Connect U1/U2/U3/bomb off it!

VII. Oral:

LOL WTF?
Try a small round stage like Konoha forest, so you won't spend the entire match chasing after your opponent.
Stay medium range, spamming supports, guard jumping and short hoping shurikens until you get the chance to c. dash > U1/U2/bomb.
Against, long ranged foes, NM sideways spamming shurikens until they stop spamming kcombos, then when close enough, c. dash and punish. They're awful upclose, so keep that in mind. ( except for shino lol)

Nice guide but I think u could have gone more into detail.
I've seen some good Jiraiya's pulling off wicked moves but idk how cuz i don't play him that much.

And Jiraiya's U2 is hard to time on SB imo. I even doubt if it works at close range. =l

His U2 works like Neji's but with longer range. I'll have to check about SB to U2, you might be right.

Ok I tried some thigns out.
It IS possible to SB -> U2 at close range but it's very hard. Use his U2 before the SB cutscene and it's much easier.
He can also combo into his U2 With his neutral combo (don't do the last hit) I haven't been able to tech out but i doubt it's impossible. Need someone to confirm this.
It's also possible with his up combo but it's longer and harder to do imo.
His other most useful combo is his side combo. It causes SB and IIRC hit the opponent in the back too.

He can also combo into his U2 with his chakra shuriken at close/mid range.
Tag -> U2 also works.

Was extremely dissapointed with Jiraiya in this game. Especially his A Mode and U2!

I know what you mean, but he's not that bad.

When awakened, shorthop and c. kunai until you get them to NM, then dash > U1.

For his U2, lands off Tsunade, 1010, Kabuto and Sakura's support if they don't tech, also can be landed after a dash.

And as for SB, chain them with U1's (up item restores some chakra) until you get the U3.

Fyi, Jiraiya = Neutral combo into U2 - all you need to do to win.
