I have this problem sometimes just click run a few times or run as administrator it will work eventually.

This probably sounds stupid but try restarting your pc. It may have glitched and your computer might think it's still running or something.

I tried that yesterday and it didn't work. It's also been off all night but it still doesn't work.

well if you did buy it you should probably call adobe or email them about it because you paid for it and they should offer support.

Well it all depends on how your dad bought it. If you own a disk it'll be a bit less complicated. It's wither that or he digitally downloaded it off adobe's site. If that's the case you'll more likely than not be able to log in to the account he made on there and download it again.
